Fueled by a profound admiration for Iron Maiden, we dedicate ourselves to authentically recreating the iconic sound and spirit that has defined a genre and inspired generations. We are more than a band; we’re a brotherhood bound by the love of the music of the legendary metal group.
Our leader, Yeddie van Maiden, rose from deep forests of British Columbia. The sasquatch used his solitude and musical passion to craft a unique vision: to form a tribute band that would roar his tale to the world. Yeddie’s mission required the summoning of us, five disciples, each a skilled musician with a deep reverence for Iron Maiden.
Driven by the echoes of Yeddie’s dreams that were imprinted in our minds, we united to forge Maiden Vancouver, a tribute band destined to uphold the venerable legacy of the metal icons. At the lead, Yeddie stands as our guide, his commanding presence a signal of rebellion and strength, fascinating fans in our concerts.
We, the musicians, found our destinies intertwined with Iron Maiden from a young age. Carl and Scott, on guitars, fuse complex harmonies and solos, while Gustavo’s bass lines resonate with the intensity of Steve Harris’s signature gallop. Chris anchors us with his powerful drumming and backing vocals, and Kelly’s powerful voice completes our ensemble.
Joining Maiden Vancouver was more than a career choice; it was a journey to the roots of our musical awakening. Maiden’s music was the soundtrack to our lives. Our collective expertise, shaped by years of dedication, honors the Metal Gods’ intricate compositions and rich narratives.

His discovery of Iron Maiden was transformative. Their songs resonated with his sorrow, offering calm and igniting a rebellious flame. The music touched his soul and manifested physically, transforming him into a creature embodying the spirit of rock.
With a vision to share his story and the music that shaped him, Yeddie planned to form Maiden Vancouver. He harnessed the power of dreams to summon five musicians, each a talented in their own right. This band was not just a tribute to Iron Maiden, but a testament to the transformative power of music and dreams.
Kelly Juhlin
Lead SingerKelly’s origin in rock is deeply rooted in a pivotal 1980 record store discovery—Iron Maiden’s debut album. The captivating cover art and ensuing auditory journey ignited a profound lifelong passion, leading him to master his voice as his chosen instrument of powerful expression.
His early days with Prowl in Regina laid the foundation for his musical journey. Through bands like The Diamond Rangers and Royal Teaz, Kelly honed his craft, embracing the blues and classic rock that shaped his voice.
Kelly’s musical journey eventually led him to BC, where he joined Thunder Struck, an AC/DC tribute band, and later formed Metal Army BC, a band that covers songs by Maiden, Judas, and Sabbath. His involvement with Maiden Vancouver represents the pinnacle of his journey, paying homage to the band that first inspired his musical voyage.
Carl Jackson
Guitar & Backing VocalsCarl’s origin story is etched in the melodies of Iron Maiden, which steered him to the piano at five and the guitar at seven. His passion for music was ignited by the band’s fiery riffs, compelling him to master the instruments that would become his voice.
From the jazz stages of Malaspina College to the electric buzz of Los Angeles’ Musicians Institute of Technology, Carl’s journey through bands like Core and Spectrelight was a crescendo of experience, shaping him into a versatile maestro of rock.
Joining Maiden Vancouver wasn’t merely a gig; it was a profound homecoming. Carl’s unwavering dedication to authenticity makes every electrifying show a spiritual journey, not just for him but for every ardent fan seeking the ultimate Iron Maiden experience.
Scott Webb
Guitar & Backing VocalsScott’s journey began in the chill of Saskatoon, where in his early teens, the strum of his guitar echoed his heroes from Iron Maiden. Their album "The Number of the Beast" was a revelation, beckoning him towards the stage, where he found his true calling.
Through bands like Hard Knox, Freaks By Nature, and Whitewolf, Scott honed his craft, touring Canada and Germany, forging a path in the metal scene. His tenure with liquid marked the point where he met the talented Chris Drieschner, initiating a comaradarie that would eventually lead to this current powerful musical endeavor.
His passion for Iron Maiden’s sound led to the formation of Maiden Vancouver, a tribute band born from a shared dream with fellow musicians. This new chapter blends respect for Maiden’s legacy with a fresh energy, marking Scott’s serendipitous return to the joy of live performance.
Gustavo Parolin
BassIn the heart of Brazil, a young Gus was captivated by the electric riffs of Iron Maiden and Kiss. At 10, Rock in Rio was his awakening; the guitar, his chosen instrument. He vowed to master it, letting each chord tell his story.
Gus was one of the founders of SLUG, a metal band that emerged in the '90s. They left an indelible mark on Brazil’s music scene with numerous albums, dozens of live shows, and a DVD that chronicled their 20-year career. His musical journey also included Brazilian tributes to Maiden, Metallica, Kiss, and Ozzy.
Gus’s two-decade tribute to Iron Maiden in Brazil resulted in him performing in numerous shows alongside Paul Di’Anno. His dedication to the music that shaped his youth now continues in Canada, where he plays with the Master of Justice, a Metallica tribute band, and has become a member of Maiden Vancouver. In these endeavors, he intertwines the strands of his musical heritage with the four strings of his guitar.
Chris Drieschner
Drums & Backing VocalsIn the tranquil town of Kelowna, B.C., Chris was captivated by the rhythmic beats of Iron Maiden's "Where Eagles Dare". The unwrapping of a Piece of Mind record marked the genesis of his musical journey. His fascination with the drums was ignited, leading him to spend his late teens in a metal band, honing his skills.
Chris's musical journey took him from local rock bands in his early twenties to a tribute band for The Cult in Vancouver. His versatility shone through as he reinvented himself as a solo acoustic act, The Chris Show, in 2015, inspired by a trip to England and the allure of Trooper Beer and Pub Open Mic nights.
Fast forward to Halloween 2023, a phone call from Scott sparked a new opportunity. Chris dusted off his drum kit and began practicing the classic Iron Maiden songs that had captivated him during his childhood. This led to his involvement with Maiden Vancouver, a tribute band that rekindled his love for performing live, leaving everyone in eager anticipation of their first live show.
